Wat een plezier om deze te maken, het vergt wel enige moeite om sommige delen van het dak op hun plaats te krijgen maar met een beetje ervaring, improvisatie en goeie lijm lukt het wel. Eenmaal klaar had ik het groter verwacht maar de afmetingen kloppen wel.
TONS of little pieces make up this wooden puzzle, so it took me about 4 days working a few hours a day. I absolutely loved doing this floating castle! I most definitely will purchase more of these puzzles.
The Instructions to me were very clear, with the only exception being the flap that becomes the battery compartment, and that was only because I had glued it down previously. At that time, the Instructions/pictures did not show it as becoming a useful place for the battery. My fault..🤷🏻♀️
Gave the floating castle as a gift to a friend, and she loved it. She’s assembled it and plans on mounting it to her wall. Amazing details and it looks awesome!
I haven’t had the opportunity to assemble it yet but I did look all through the kit. The pieces are all clearly marked and look to be good quality. The instruction manual instructions are very well illustrated, some of the best I have seen.
This was my sixth miniature build, and by far, the one I most enjoyed building. The instructions were clear and concise, the parts snapped together and held firmly.
This was by far my favorite miniature project. The quality of the materials was superb and all fit together perfectly. It took some time but was well worth it. The instructions with illustrations were very well done making it easy to see where each part fit into the structure. I have done tons of these miniature projects and this one was my favorite by far.
This castle is an excellent quality puzzle. The pieces are cut precisely and fit impeccably. The only problem I had is the place to put the battery, it wouldn’t hold it. I made a decision to skip the lights altogether. I highly recommend this puzzle!
I’ve built a lot of these wood models. Book nooks, small houses, shops. Marble runs, clocks. This particular model has amazing quality! Premium wood, thick metal core paper, the laser work was perfect, spare bits included (not that a single one was needed since this wood doesn’t fracture like other cheap kits), clear instructions, and perfect tolerances for assemble. Possible the best quality kit I’ve found yet and I’ll be getting many more from this company.
My sole complaint is the LED fairy light strip it comes with has 2 strobing modes and a steady mode. It should have a soft fading mode that mimicked candlelight, and eliminate the strobe. I feel it will also be a challenge to change the button cells when needed.
Building this steampunk castle was an absolute blast! The mechanical details and imaginative design made the whole process exciting and immersive. It was a really enjoyable project that kept me smiling the entire time and the final result looks fantastic.
