Rokrgeek's tourbillon timepiece cycles through time through precision mechanical craftsmanship. It is inspired by the movement of celestial bodies and simulates the movement of stars like an armillary sphere. Experience its rotation, like the flow of time.
This spherical tourbillon timepiece is driven by spring and can work continuously for about 1 hour when fully wound. After starting, the sphere rotates regularly with a ticking sound. The rotational speed is transmitted to the hands through gears to achieve precise timing functions.
Carefully crafted from high-quality birch wood, it has a natural woody aroma, is environmentally friendly and has no odor. The unique grain of the wood not only demonstrates durability but also adds aesthetic value, making this timepiece not only highly functional but also a pleasing work of art.

Overall rating: 4.4 / 5 from 31 reviews.
Very very nice work on the internal parts and it runs great.

Initally got the U gears version of this years ago and it did not function. This rokr version worked 1st time !! Runs for 25 mins on the steel spring… excellent design and instructions.

Love this model. Fun to build. This is the forth tourbillon model I’ve built - 2 timers and 2 clock.
L.5/5Verified
The pieces are precision cut. They fit together properly. The instructions are clear. It is an amazingly complex, visually beautiful object.
Paul H.5/5Verified
It was great. Easy to put together and runs really well.
Dwain H.5/5Verified
The parts were accurately cut and fit very well together. I colored them before assembly and put it together. It worked first run! Main spring is only long enough for an indicated 55min out of the 60 on the dial but who cares? I love watching this thing tick and I bought one for my friend to build. A great gift for any engineer! I found that lubricating it with silicone spray and silicone grease works better than the parafin wax but the wax works well on the bearings and gears as supplied. The wood is good quality and can be finished with varnish if you like. I intend to use shellac on some of the parts on my next build. Sharpie pens work really well to color the flat parts and acrylic paint pens work well on the edges. This particular model is an amazing thing to watch running!

Fairly easy build. Soothing to almost hypnotic in action.
Guy B.5/5Verified
Built one of these for myself, but this one is a retirement gift for a friend, so not assembled yet.
Dean K.5/5Verified
Fun to watch in action and even more fun to build, I love it!

Great model
Brent Euan C.5/5Verified
I bought this for my 12 year old grandson. He put it together in 1 day. He said that the pieces were easy to separate, instructions easy to follow. It works great and looks impressive.

Great .

A great puzzle! Fun to assemble and a joy to show off. A great conversation piece. One problem but easily fixed: It would stop running after a few minutes, and I noticed that the two parts #32 would separate, allowing the tooth from the wheel to stick between them. Using a toothpick, I put a small drop of glue between the two parts, and now it runs continuously.

Beautiful design.

I have made a few plastic 3d clocks but they never worked properly. This one started ticking from the first trial and run for 15 minutes. VERY HAPPY.
Jack B.5/5Verified
Great product went together nicely

I have 5 RokrGeek models. Have completed Steampunk Revolver and Gathering of Cats musicbox. Very pleased with both. I am looking forward to begin
Michael G.5/5Verified
This model is way cool and requires a bit of patience. That is to carefully polish and wax the gears and mechanism in order to minimize the cumulative friction effect. It is very satisfying. All of the pieces were easy to remive from the sheets and the wood quality was excellent. I purchased three more just because. A very nice model to assemble.
James B.5/5Verified
The pieces in this kit are very vleanly cut and their thickness is quite substantial. There are several gear assemblies that require vwry careful waxing so be prepared to spend adequate time in those regards. The instructions have been tranlated from Chinese and the illustrations are a bit vaugue at time so study them carefully. The sheets are well laid out in that the pieces are not scattered all over multiple boards, the assemblies are kept pretty much together and in order. This timer kit offers alot of visual stimulation and movement and begs for color. Overall this is a kit that is not for a first time builder as it is a bit complex and somewhat fiddly at times. A great deal of fun to build.

This was a challenging build, especially tuning the escapement spring.
Only one real problem is that the escapement rocket arm teeth are too short, and occasionally this results in it lining up exactly so it doesn't catch. This results in uncontrolled release of the main spring tension, causing the unit to bounce all over the place. Luckily though, it didn't disintegrate, and still worked after checks and careful rewinding.
The full timer range is less than 1 hr, about 45 mins, but that OK, as this is just an ingenious example of a tourbillon escapement, where the workings are easy to see.

Not brand name but it looks good and seems to work. Might just be drop shipping other companies puzzles
Rowan T.4/5Verified
All good, it was funny to build it
Lorenzo G.4/5Verified
It's fun, can go more than 1 hour, there is a small time in the middle of the minute hand, as a countdown, the wood is quite nice

Building it was fine. Couple tricky spots (keeping the washers in place when assembling the main sections together took several tries).
Can usually get it to go nonstop for about 30 minutes.. there is some binding I have to get rid of / figure out..
My only comments for improvement .. winding up the spring is cumbersome.. maybe longer lever/stem might help… also the locking “fork” could be longer… little tough to pull out
Jeff3/5Verified
The spring uncoils immediately and I haven't been able to identify the cause. Any ideas?
Kishore M.3/5
Fantastic model/puzzle to put together - unfortunately it only ran for the first spring wind up as the spring ratchets slip and release the spring - this is unfortunate as I glued my model together and am now unable to get to the spring ratchet mechanism to fix it.
Dean K.3/5Verified
The spring mechanism caused the unit to move way too fast. The movement was was unusable.
Robert P.3/5Verified
Does work,
David E.2/5Verified
Fun piece to assemble but I haven't been able to get it to work. The tourbillion rocker just sticks and has to be released manually. I've tried everything I can think of to try to make it not do this to no avail.
