Fantastic! Had so much fun. Instructions were clear and overall easy to follow. I suggest buying your own wood glue, as some pieces require extra fortification, but otherwise a blast. Looks great afterwards too. Excited to buy the next set!
This is a fantastic product. I will say, the assembly requires some patience as it can be a bit challenging. However, I actually enjoyed the process and found it very rewarding once it was finished.
Love this kit. These are beautifully made, the assembly instructions are clear and well illustrated and the final result is really pleasing. What I really appreciated is that many spare parts are included, in case you lose or damage a part. I’m looking forward to making more of these kits.
While this is my first wooden model, it certainly won't be my last.
I've always struggled with painting classic models, but loved the fun of putting them together. Maybe that's why I loved Lego and such growing up?
This scratches that itch quite well.
I've definitely learned a lot during building this (patience, light tough, less glue than you think, and watch out for every piece) but it's been a super fun journey.
I only lost two pieces during the whole process (one wooden, one paper facia) but it really didn't affect the overall outcome.
Regardless of your skill level, trust the process, and you'll come out with a great result.
This was my seventh 3D wood/paper assembly kit, and my first Rokrgeek kit. It was by far the best kit for assembly that I've put together! The dimensional tolerancing was outstanding. I did not have to 'force' a single peg / slot fit, nor did I have to sand a single one. The instructions were very good. The end result is an awesome looking dirigible. Very happy with the end result.
This Airship 3D puzzle is a terrific model to build. There are several places where the instructions need some improvement and there are also where the sequence of assembly could be revised. I have built more than 50 of these wooden "puzzles" and this was among the most challenging and the most rewarding. Even though the model is "top shelf" the customer support is terrible !!!
I really enjoyed making this and I am delighted with the result!
NB the instructions did not mention what batteries or cells to use but I emailed and got the answer swiftly. For info it takes 3 (not 4) LR 44 or AG 13 cells.
